It is with great sadness that the Councillors and Staff of Drayton Parish Council offer their deepest condolences to the Royal Family, following the news of the passing of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II.  

Out of respect and National protocol, the Council Office will now close for a period of mourning. A book of condolence will be placed in the reception of the Bob Carter Centre on School Road for the residents of Drayton to sign if they wish. This will be available Monday - Friday 10 am to 10pm, and Saturday 10am - 7pm.  We kindly request that any flowers are placed in the Florence Carter Memorial Playground, by the Harry Cator memorial. Flowers should be unwrapped and will be removed the day after the State Funeral.
