Rachel moved to Drayton in 2024 after relocating from Suffolk where she served on the parish council for more than 20 years. She now works locally for Priscilla Bacon Hospice Charity in Drayton.
With a teaching background in adult education and charity retail, Rachel is a passionate advocate for social justice and environmental sustainability. She brings over 15 years of experience working and volunteering with organisations such as the British Heart Foundation and MIND. In 2023, she completed a Master’s degree in Gender Studies at the University of East Anglia and is known for her practical approach and deep commitment to making a difference.
Rachel is particularly interested in protecting local footpaths, enhancing green spaces, and supporting initiatives that promote wellbeing and community connection. Her practical, people-first approach and deep-rooted commitment to public service make her a valuable contributor to the life of the village.
