Role and purpose of Finance & General Purposes Committee
The Finance & General Purposes Committee is a Standing Committee of the Council and is responsible for a range of non-executive functions to facilitate proper management of the Council's finances in accordance with external requirements and internal imperatives.
The Committee is also responsible for various matters concerning the effective development of good governance and administration, advising Council on constitutional and policy matters for which it is responsible.
