Drayton Parish Council is inviting local residents, businesses and community representatives to get involved in planning and supporting events by joining our Community Events Advisory Group.

What is the Community Events Advisory Group?

The Group helps shape and support a programme of events across Drayton.

Working together with the Parish Council, members:

• Help plan and promote events throughout the year – from favourites like the Christmas Lights Switch-On to national celebrations such as the King’s Coronation

• Share ideas for new events and ways to bring the community together

• Looks back on past events to see what worked well and how things could be even better

The Group plays an important role in making sure our events are enjoyable, inclusive and run smoothly for everyone in the community.

Who can join?

If you live, work or run a business in Drayton we’d love to hear from you. This is your chance to share your ideas, help shape what happens in your community and work alongside the Parish Council on local events.

No experience is needed – just an interest in your community and a willingness to get involved.

Whether you’ve helped run events before or just have a passion for bringing people together, we’d love to hear from you.

How do I submit an expression of interest?

To express your interest in joining the Group, please email office@draytonparishcouncil.gov.uk with:

• Your full name

• Your preferred contact details

• Your connection to Drayton (e.g. resident, community group or business)

• A short note on why you’d like to get involved
